Design Lead Job Opportunity

Are you a visionary design leader with a passion for creating seamless and consistent user experiences? We are seeking a Design Lead to spearhead our design efforts across key customer-facing platforms, including our admin panel, website, and order flow. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is crucial in ensuring that our design and UX elements provide a cohesive and exceptional user experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design Leadership: Oversee and guide the design and user experience across our customer-facing platforms, ensuring a unified and high-quality experience for our users.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX/UI designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Consistency Guardian: Act as the guardian of design consistency across our platforms, maintaining a single line of design and UX elements in all customer interfaces.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate design seamlessly into the development process, ensuring that design and UX are central to all product decisions.
• Design System Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system that serves as the foundation for all our digital products, ensuring that it is adhered to across all projects.
• User-Centered Design: Champion a user-centered design approach, conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform and refine design decisions.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay on top of design trends and innovations, ensuring our design practices remain cutting-edge and our products continue to delight users.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of design elements, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended design vision and user experience goals.

• User Satisfaction: Increase user satisfaction scores such as NPS and cSAT and reduce friction across customer journeys.
• Design Consistency: Achieve and maintain a unified design across all platforms.
• Efficiency: Reduce design-related development issues by integrating design early in the process.
• Adoption: Drive the successful adoption of the design system across all relevant teams.

• Cross-Platform Experience: Experience leading design across various platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Design System Expertise: Proven experience in creating and maintaining design systems that have been successfully implemented across multiple products.
• Accessibility Leadership: Experience championing and integrating accessibility best practices, ensuring products meet or exceed accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hosting, domains, or online services, with an understanding of the unique design challenges in these industries.
